Recruitment Cycle

At gemo, we take a rigorous approach to our recruitment cycle to ensure that we select the most suitable candidates for our program. Our process begins with meeting students at various events and marketing campaigns to introduce them to our company and answer any questions they may have. Once students are interested in applying, they can take up to 8 hours (or 5 business days) to complete our comprehensive online screening tests that evaluate their technical background and problem-solving skills, all in English.

After the screening tests, our admission committee carefully grades each application, conducts interviews with selected candidates, and finalizes the selection of our next cohort. We pride ourselves on selecting individuals who are not only technically skilled but also possess a strong passion for their chosen career path and a growth mindset that will help them thrive in our program.

Once admission closes, invitations are sent out to our accepted candidates to join us on this exciting journey of professional development and growth. 

Learning Cycle

Our learning curriculum is designed to help you become a top talent in the Vietnamese market and beyond. As the technology industry continues to expand rapidly, the demand for skilled professionals who can thrive in a borderless, dynamic environment has never been greater. At gemo, we are committed to preparing our students for this exciting opportunity.

Over the course of four months, you will engage in a comprehensive curriculum that covers technical, professional skills, and English & communication skills. We believe that hands-on experience is essential to mastering the skills required for success in the industry, which is why the first month is focused on team projects.

Throughout the program, we will use a variety of learning models, including computer-based learning, learning by teaching, and collaborative learning. In addition, you will have access to 1:1 career coaches and mentors who will help you achieve your learning and professional growth objectives.

By the end of the program, you will have gained the knowledge, skills, and confidence to take on global opportunities in the tech industry. The talent shortage is abundant, and we believe that with the right preparation and support, you can become a leader in this exciting field.

US-Based Apprenticeship

We work hard to create an educational experience that is unlike others. We offer a 2-month apprenticeship program in the US, with our partnered network of companies, for our top 10% students. This is a rare chance for our students to work on real-world projects, collaborating with individuals from diverse backgrounds, and delivering impactful solutions. Our goal is not only to equip our students with the technical skills they need but also to instill in them the necessary soft skills, such as teamwork, communication, and adaptability, right at some of the toughest job markets in the world. By participating in this apprenticeship program, our students will be prepared to tackle the challenges that the global stage presents.

1:1 Mentoring network

At gemo, our commitment to your success doesn’t end after the 4-month learning cycle or even after the 2-month apprenticeship. We know that a strong network of mentors is critical to your continued growth and success as a professional, and that’s why we provide access to a network of mentors for a lifetime.
